Mr. Anupam Kaul
Mr Kaul is a BHU IIT graduate in metallurgical engineering and an independent strategic adviser on Quality & Standards. In his previous role, he led the standards, quality management, laboratory management, risk management and quality in governance initiatives of the Confederation of Indian Industry till December 2020. He has played a key role in the development of important ISO standards and has served on the ISO Working Groups for ISO 9001, ISO 9004, ISO 37500. He is currently the Chair of several BIS Committees.
Recognized as one of the leading policy experts on standards, conformity assessment and technical regulations in India, he provides strategic advice to industrial groups on standards and related regulatory compliances. He played a key role in conceptualizing and developing the Indian National Strategy for Standardization. He has represented industry in government-to-government dialogue on standards and conformance cooperation and regulatory issues with several countries including USA and Germany.
A vibrant leader with tremendous flair, aptitude and knowledge of regulatory regime, His enormous experience and huge exposure in the conformity assessment and standardization activities has immensely helped Aaditech in defining its Quality policy, inspection activities and consultancy services and positioning Aaditech strategically as the global leader in the arena of product certification and compliance services.
Mr. B.K. Jain
M/s Aaditech Inspections and Services Pvt. Ltd. is co-promoted by Mr. B.K. Jain, Ex. Director, Bureau of Indian Standards. Mr Jain is a B.Tech from NIT and has an about 35 years of experience in the field of Standards, certification, inspections, conformity assessment, testing, power sector and other related activities.
Mr. B.K.Jain held many important assignments in the Govt. of India as well as in the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. During his tenure with BIS, he was the Secretary of National technical committees of a number of electrical products and was instrumental for formulation of Standards in key areas. He also headed the electrical laboratory of BIS and was overall in charge for testing of electricity products. He also has significant experience in inspection and certification activities of BIS and looked after the certification and conformity assessment activities of a number of products like steel, cement, chemicals, polymers, textiles, electrical, electronics etc in various branch offices. He also had a stint in dealing with the International relations and has loads of experience handling matters pertaining to WTO, IEC, ISO, MoUs, trade negotiations, International Standards and conformity assessment.
He worked as Joint Director with Delhi electricity regulatory Commission and possess considerable experience in power sector in areas like tariff fixation, electricity disputes, Indian electricity Act, energy audits, energy efficiency, and various Acts, rules and regulations governing the regulatory regime in power sector.
A widely travelled person across the globe, he has a vast experience of representing India in many International meetings held overseas and as CEO Aaditech in countries like USA, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Nepal, Dubai, Bahrain, Australia, Hongkong, Sri Lanka, etc. at various International forums like ISO, IEC, WTO etc. and made substantial contribution on issues pertaining to Technical matters, Standardisation, Technical regulations, Conformity assessment and International Trade etc.
Mr Jain is a qualified and trained Auditor for ISO 9000 on quality management system, IS 15700 on service quality management system and ISO 50001 on energy management system and has a wide experience of implementation of various Certification System and procedures.Involvement in such varied policy imperatives and extensive exposure thereto has thus given him a comprehensive and in depth understanding of the technical, operational and administrative aspects of standard formulation, conformity assessment, laboratories, testing and various activities of technical regulatory regime particularly those mandated under BIS Act for product certification, FMCS, ISI Mark, CRS etc.
A Great visionary, an intuitive personality, A Charismatic leader with an analytical mind, Mr Jain, with over three decades experience in the conformity assessment activities, has catapulted Aaditech in to a world class company as its CEO for the last 10 years having accomplished above 5000 projects and assignments in more than 40 countries catering to the most prominent and distinguished clientele all over the globe. During his tenure as CEO Aaditech, he has signed numerous bilateral agreements with ANSI USA, GIZ Germany, PPAK Iran, Reliance Industries, Ducab UAE, SABIC Saudi Arabia, Chint China, Iguzini Italy , BASF Germany and many others Global giants in the Standardisation and conformity assessment sectors. He is also signatory to the other projects with Indian government departments like MEITY, BEE, QCI for carrying out their surveillance, inspection, and other conformity assessment activities. As a vibrant member of leading industry bodies like CII, Delhi chamber of commerce and an active Advisor to industry association LACMA, Mr Jain through these fora, made a huge contribution to the formulation of key govt polices in the areas of regulations governing International trade.
